THE DEAD SPEAK! We are back after too long a hiatus, talking about maybe our most solid slate of movies ever! We go back to the House of Mouse for our three! We once again talk about ALADDIN...the animated classic this time, how Robin Williams was a genius, how SLEEPING BEAUTY defines and determines the formula for Princess movies, and how ROBIN HOOD is easily the best Robin Hood movie for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is he's actually Robin Hood in it!

We take a breather from traditionally fantasy movies to talk about THE ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD and how every scrap of Robin Hood media is directly influenced by that movie, how THREE MUSKETEERS(1993) is such an inexplicable movie, how it stacks up against Prince of Thieves, I make way, way too many Star Wars comparisons, we both neglect to realize that they had three singers on that track for a reason, how A KNIGHT'S TALE is still incredible and what a loss Heath Ledger was!

Here we go! A little Side Project we have going with Dad, talking about every James Bond put to film, in chronologically order. We're starting with the 1954 made for TV Drama, staring American Barry Nelson as James "Jimmy" Bond. Yeah. But Peter Lorre as Le Chiffre is pretty good! Along the way we talk about why we're doing this, what is in store, and Dad's history with the franchise.

Sword and Bored
Lars and Luke, Brothers in Arms, talking about every fantasy film they've ever seen, want to see, what makes them tick, what makes them not work, what's better, what's worse.
What we define as a fantasy: If it's readily apparent, if someone could or does pull out a sword and it doesn't require additional context to make sense, it's a fantasy. Raiders of the Lost Ark isn't a fantasy. The Mummy is.
This arbitrary definition will be used and ignored at a moments notice for comedy.
