Hey this is a fun little conversation we had during the recording of episode 13 that didn't quite fit with the theme, but I didn't wanna waste it, so consider it a little bonus.

We talk about life, our hobbies, the monolith of Disney and ALADDIN(2019) and I shoehorn my love of Edgar Wright and Mass Effect, we discuss The Asylum and the utterly, utterly abysmal LORD OF THE ELVES, and try to find something, anything worth talking about in it!

In this remaster/rereleased episode because I didn't format the episode properly, we're joined by Rank And Vile's Quincy, talking about Dungeons and Dragons, the aptly titled THE WEIRD MAN and how it's a visual feast, how Quincy and Lars are cowards for not liking VAN HELSING even if I say it's kind of crap, McFarland Toys and how they're only good sometimes, the least Terry Gilliam movie possible in THE BROTHERS GRIMM and how it's just...meh!

Episode 8: Where Did All The Swords Go?
Monday Jul 29, 2019
Monday Jul 29, 2019
This episode we talk about the missed opportunites of INKHEART and by extension Last Action Hero, how utterly Bananas ROBIN HOOD(2018) is and how it seems like everyone kinda missed the point of it, Lars' kids' first comiccon, and how we're kinda sorta totally boring!
Sword and Bored
Lars and Luke, Brothers in Arms, talking about every fantasy film they've ever seen, want to see, what makes them tick, what makes them not work, what's better, what's worse.
What we define as a fantasy: If it's readily apparent, if someone could or does pull out a sword and it doesn't require additional context to make sense, it's a fantasy. Raiders of the Lost Ark isn't a fantasy. The Mummy is.
This arbitrary definition will be used and ignored at a moments notice for comedy.
