Welcome to Sword and Bored, where we talk about fantasy and fantasy related films. On our introductory episode we talk about our metric, our rules, a bit about RETURN OF THE KING, about how terrible DEATHSTALKER is and how he doesn't really stalk death, and at the unexpectedly okay DRAGONFYRE.
Sword and Bored
Lars and Luke, Brothers in Arms, talking about every fantasy film they've ever seen, want to see, what makes them tick, what makes them not work, what's better, what's worse.
What we define as a fantasy: If it's readily apparent, if someone could or does pull out a sword and it doesn't require additional context to make sense, it's a fantasy. Raiders of the Lost Ark isn't a fantasy. The Mummy is.
This arbitrary definition will be used and ignored at a moments notice for comedy.
